Laurie is the founder and chief executive manager of Insight EAP LLC. Dr. Xie (Dr. J) is a national board certified acupuncturist and herbalist (NCCAOM Diplomate of Oriental Medicine). Dr. J is a licensed acupuncturist in Illinois and Wisconsin. He practiced traditional and conventional medicine in China from 1985 to 2005 as a physician and professor at Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine. He has practiced acupuncture in USA since 2005. He currently is a Professor and a clinical supervisor at the Midwest College of Oriental Medicine. His training includes 5 years of medical school, 3 years of residency, 7 years of postgraduate training in traditional and conventional medicine.

Strength of acupuncture stimulation should be considered carefully for each patient. Regardless of pain nature, acupuncture is an excellent modality for pain relief and management. I have practiced acupuncture over 26 years and taught the students at the Midwest College of Oriental Medicine in Chicago for 5 years.
