Using Kiiko Matsumoto Style Japanese Acupuncture and Japanese Meridian Therapy, I will work to bring you into a full recovery as efficiently and effectively as possible. This style of acupuncture utilizes a highly systematic method of palpation to gain diagnostic information thru touch. Using thinner needles, extremely gentle needle techniques and moxa, close attention is paid to precise location of acupuncture points and patient feedback is critical in guiding the treatment. Dr.Frank Zhao is an Acupuncture expert who has been practicing for over 40 years. He graduated from Guangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and obtained his MD in TCM in 1984. He obtained his MD & Ph.D. in Neurology and Neurologic Science from Tokyo Medical and Dental University. He was the director of the Acupuncture Dept. in China, a Research Fellow in the field of Herb and Acupuncture at Harvard Medical School. He is Vice Chairman of the World Manipulative Medical Association, Professor of New York College of Health Professions, Board Member of United Alliance of NYS Licensed Acupuncturists.
