As a retired professional ballet dancer, I have dedicated most of my life to the study of movement. I have always been fascinated with the human body and how it works. Once I stopped performing, it seemed only natural that I would gravitate toward a profession in the field of bodywork. Acupuncture was always helpful to me while I was dancing and I felt that practicing this amazing medicine would give me the opportunity to help others in the same way I was helped throughout my career. I am a career healthcare provider with a 23-year Western medical ICU background prior to entering the field of acupuncture/TCM. My experience as an RCP-NPS at some of the top teaching/research hospitals in the US - and abroad - uniquely informs my integrative approach to treatment. For the past 12 years, the practice of TCM has allowed me to bring the most modern scientific understanding to the truly comprehensive holistic approach on which this ancient healing system is premised. I received my MAOM in 2012; completed doctoral studies at Five Branches University San Jose in 2023. I practice in both the Wash DC and Tucson areas.

I find that many times I see patients who have exhausted what they can get from Western medicine and are now reaching for alternative treatments. They are always amazed at what can be done to help when we get to the root cause with remedies as simple as herbal teas, changes in nutrition, or accupuncture. By working with my patients both spiritually and physically we have been able to accomplish some rather remarkable results.
