However, stress, unhealthy diet and eating habits, and many environmental pollutions make the foundation of our lives unbalanced, thus, we experience depression, anxiety, digestive disorder and sexual dysfunction. Before graduated from Five Branches University of Chinese Medicine Graduate School and obtained my California Acupuncture Board license, I also systematically studied Western Medicine in Beijing Medical University for 5 years and went through several years' residency training in OB/GYN Department in Beijing 402 Hospital. Nowadays in America, although more and more people come to acupuncture clinics for help with their health problems, there are still some communication boundaries between Western and Eastern Medical systems. .

I have been in the health field for over 35 years.A Practicing Acupuncturist for 28 years in Encinitas. The high level of success and satisfaction I have had in the last 18 years practicing Classical 5 element Acupuncture has re-inspired my practice. Fertility Acupuncture is one of my top specialties , as well as Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy. Combining these two modalities gives me more treatment options. I have added FUNCTIONAL BLOOD CHEMISTRY ANALYSIS to pinpoint undiagnosed thyroid issues and to help support brain health. I just completed a 4 year course in South American Shamanism both in Joshua Tree and Costa Rica.

A Yorba Linda native, I began my studies of Chinese Medicine in the mid-1980's while still attending Esperanza. Now, 30+ years later, I'm super excited to be back in my hometown, offering my neighbors and friends quality acupuncture services! I was privileged to train at some of the top schools both in the US and China, graduating with honors, and am one of few caucasians to have earned bachelor's, master's and doctoral level degrees in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. My residencies in integrative medicine included pain management, immune support, and oncology care in western clinical settings.
