Hello-- I am a licensed acupuncturist and Chinese herbalist practicing in San Antonio. My approach is to address the acute issues while working to resolve any underlying causes and move toward optimum health. I use a variety of acupuncture styles- traditional Chinese acupuncture, 5-element, Richard Tan's balance method, Koryo(Korean hand therapy), and Auricular therapy in addition to Chinese herbs and techniques to use at home to get the best possible results for the patient. When acute and chronic issues are adequately dealt with, enhanced long term health and well being are the reward.

Acupuncture has been effectively used for the treatment of back pain, headache, migraine, and sports injuries. However, acupuncture provides more than pain relief. It is helpful in treating anxiety, insomnia, digestive problems, menstrual problems, weight control, infertility and much more. Acupuncture does this by balancing the body's systems, and many of our patients experience more than pain relief. They experience a welcomed sense of health and well-being.

I started the clinic to apply the wisdom of acupuncture and herbal medicine to revitalize the body's ability to reach optimal health. I am a Texas licensed acupuncturist, certified by National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM), and certified in Auricular Therapy. My MA degree training included Western medicine models which enables me to bridge the Western to Eastern approach to healing.
