I have both degrees of Chinese Medicine and Western Medicine. The combined degrees allow me to have a good understanding of pathology from both disciplines. I am a career healthcare provider with a 23-year Western medical ICU background prior to entering the field of acupuncture/TCM. I'm Jim Burnis, a licensed acupuncturist practicing in Gold Canyon Arizona under my LLC Acupuncture Alternatives. I earned my Degree in Acupuncture from the Phoenix Institute of Herbal Medicine and Acupuncture and am certified thru the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.
