Nationally certified by NCCAOM and in Virginia, I bring over 25 years of experience in western and Chinese medicine. Having trained and practiced as a doctor at the prestigious Beijing University of Chinese Medicine and the Chinese Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine, I moved with my family to the U.S. and subsequently studied to be licensed as an R.N. I have worked at Fairfax INOVA Hospital for over 9 years. My mission is to augment the marvels of western medicine with the wisdom and skill of treating the whole body so that its systems and connections work optimally.

Acupuncture improves the body’s functions and promotes the natural self-healing process by stimulating specific anatomic sites--commonly referred to as acupuncture points, or acupoints. The most common method used to stimulate acupoints is the insertion of fine, sterile needles into the skin. Pressure, heat, or electrical stimulation may further enhance the effects.
