Having trained and practiced as a doctor at the prestigious Beijing University of Chinese Medicine and the Chinese Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine, I moved with my family to the U.S. and subsequently studied to be licensed as an R.N. Acupuncture improves the body’s functions and promotes the natural self-healing process by stimulating specific anatomic sites--commonly referred to as acupuncture points, or acupoints.
