The idea is to not only correct the symptoms/pain, but to heal the whole body by getting to the root of the problem. I have been a practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine for over twenty years. I use acupuncture, Moxabustion and herbs to heal a variety of conditions by restoring the balance and harmony of energy of patients. I also offer nutritional guidance and qigong exercises to enable patients to participate in promoting their own health and well-being and to prevent illness. Dr. Xie (Dr. J) is a national board certified acupuncturist and herbalist (NCCAOM Diplomate of Oriental Medicine). Dr. J is a licensed acupuncturist in Illinois and Wisconsin. He practiced traditional and conventional medicine in China from 1985 to 2005 as a physician and professor at Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine. He has practiced acupuncture in USA since 2005. He currently is a Professor and a clinical supervisor at the Midwest College of Oriental Medicine. His training includes 5 years of medical school, 3 years of residency, 7 years of postgraduate training in traditional and conventional medicine.
