Dr. TJ Mick brings over 40 years of clinical experience in acupuncture to his Huntsville clinic. He understands that healing is a process that occurs on every level of our being. Modern and traditional evidence based approaches are utilized, including: Acupuncture, manual therapy-tui na, rolfiing, naturopathy, dry needling, cold laser, herbs and nutritional therapy. He has trained with world renowned acupuncture experts in the USA, Europe and China including a year long internship at two Chinese medicine university teaching hospitals. He was a professor at three TCM colleges. He is a team doctor for Huntsville City Football Club.
Dr. TJ Mick's practice utilizes Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Acupuncture, Naturopathy and Functional Integrative Nutritional Medicine. His approach to healing includes needle and non-needle therapies including herbal and nutritional prescriptions. He has specialized sports medicine training and experience working with athletes of all ages and levels.
Dr. Mick's Monte Sano Healing Arts wellness clinic and apothecary provides individualized treatment for pain and injury, wellness concerns, detoxification, weight loss, longevity and support for aging gracefully. We treat children and adults. We also specialize in Sports medicine dry needling, neuromuscular-myofascial therapies including cupping and more.
