"Five Dances Acupuncture is committed to being a partner in your healthcare journey. We aren't just here to fix symptoms, but to help you learn about your body and regain control over your health. We work with patients regarding all aspects of their lives- work, diet, lifestyle choices and medical history- to empower them. If you just want to fix your knee, we can help with that too, but it's not our main reason for being here. If you are really ready to get better and feel better for life, we are your practice."

"My mission is to bring relief to people suffering from chronic pain and anxiety. Through my personal experiences, I have learned that the body is wise and will move toward healing if given a chance. However, the body needs help to get the energy moving again. That’s where I come in! With the needles, I’ll start your energy moving while I hold a heart space for you to learn how to love yourself during healing the process. And even if the physical pain never completely disappears, I can promise that your relationship to the remaining pain will always change and you will be in a better place. "

Acupuncture in 21755 - is it right for me?
Acupuncture is based on the concepts of oriental medicine or traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) and is one of the oldest healing practices in the world. 21755 acupuncturists are health care professionals who evaluate and treat the many conditions, aches and pains that respond to acupuncture.

Acupuncturists insert very fine acupuncture needles into the body. The purpose of the needles is to stimulate acupuncture points or meridians. The needles do not inject any substance into your body and are so fine as to be virtually impossible to feel. In some cases, acupuncture may be accompanied by electrical stimulation or the burning of moxa, a form of heat therapy. Or use acupressure, where physical pressure is applied by hand or elbow to trigger points with the aim of clearing blockages in these meridians.

'Accupuncture' and 'Accupuncturist' are common mis-spellings.
