Hello, My name is Yoonyoung and I am a Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. Acupuncture is based on the idea that a patient’s pain or illness is caused by interruption to the flow of Qi (one’s life energy) in the body. Dr.Frank Zhao is an Acupuncture expert who has been practicing for over 40 years. He graduated from Guangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and obtained his MD in TCM in 1984. He obtained his MD & Ph.D. in Neurology and Neurologic Science from Tokyo Medical and Dental University. He was the director of the Acupuncture Dept. in China, a Research Fellow in the field of Herb and Acupuncture at Harvard Medical School. He is Vice Chairman of the World Manipulative Medical Association, Professor of New York College of Health Professions, Board Member of United Alliance of NYS Licensed Acupuncturists.
