I attended American Institute of Massage Therapy in Richmond, VA and have continued my education receiving certification in the Vodder Method of Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD) as a Lymphedema Therapist in Sydney, Australia and Austria. MLD stimulates the lymphatic system which removes water and inflammation from the body promoting your own body's ability to heal. It assists in the removal of waste products, protein products and debris. MLD is used in the treatment of Lymphedema, chronic injuries, burns, immune dysfunction and surgery.

I look forward to working with any clients that want to improve on quality of life and not focus on a number. I specialize in eating disorders and disordered eating. As a dietitian, I hope to work on your personal goals while creating a safe and non-judgement environment. The long term goal is to empower you as an intuitive eater!

I specialize in Sports, Fitness, and Wellness Nutrition. I have over 15 years experience in developing customized nutrition programs for individuals and athletes with either the goal of gaining weight and building lean muscle or losing weight and reducing body fat. I am a licensed (La Lic # 5729) and certified shiatsu practitioner (AOBTA-CP # 4019) in the state of Louisiana with over 10 years experience. I graduated with a PhD in Cell Biology and Anatomy from the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans specializing in the anatomical sciences and researching pain models of inflammation and diabetes. I bring a combination of east and west methodologies to help patients with pain relief, relaxation, increased joint mobility, increased circulation, and/or general health wellness.

I attended Bastyr University in Seattle, WA the four year accredited Naturopathic Medical School where I received my Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine, with training focused on prevention of disease and promotion of wellness in a primary care setting. After graduating, I founded Acadiana Center for Natural Health - a place for families that integrates the foundational principles of natural medicine and incorporation of integrative medicine with the goal of promoting health.
