After I had my first baby, I remember feeling so overwhelmed, not understanding what was happening to my body, feeling completely exhausted, and feeling alone, with little guidance from my OB besides "lose weight, try to breastfeed, and eat a healthy diet.” After talking with other new moms, joining a virtual support group, and taking a deep dive into research on postpartum and breastfeeding, I slowly understood what my body had really gone though during postpartum. The feelings that I thought were "normal" were not, and I felt like were not, and I felt like I finally learned the tools that I honestly needed during my pregnancy.

I have been providing consulting and counseling services for over 20 years in general nutrition, nutrition and disease, food allergies and sensitivities, eating disorders, cardiac rehabilitation, weight management, sports nutrition, exercise prescription, corporate health, health education and program development.
