As a Naturopathic and Chinese medicine physician, I focus on treating the underlying cause of disease often resulting in "miraculous" cures to even the most complicated health disorders. Using the holistic healing principles of both Nature Cure (Naturopathic) and the ancient system of Chinese medicine I individualize treatments to meet your needs and not the disease. I practiced in Los Angeles, Santa Monica & Beverly Hills for 15 yrs before moving to Portland in 2016. Over 23 yrs of practice has taught me how to treat many different, complex health issues and stress & pain management. I specialized in Infertility and Women's Health for many years & still provide on-site acupuncture for IVF patients the day of their embryo transfer. I practice an intuitive art form rooted in scientific knowledge. Traditional medicine does not specialize in treating the myofascial restrictions that may be involved in chronic pain conditions or structural dysfunction. The tried and true techniques of deep tissue massage and myofascial release aim to restore the normal functioning of fascia by breaking up the glue that binds these adhesions. I do this by applying slow, sustained pressure, gradually working up to the threshold of what you can tolerate.

I have been a practicing physician for 20 years. As a Naturopathic Doctor I specialize in musculoskeletal rehabilitation (acute and chronic joint and muscle pain), and women’s health (PMS, menopause, fatigue, insomnia, thyroid, hormones). In evaluation I use a variety of assessment tools including functional exams, labs, and imaging. I have a unique functional approach when addressing musculoskeletal pain that comes from years of training in human movement.

I primarily treat chronic pain and musculoskeletal injuries. My belief is that these are often multi-faceted. Injuries can ultimately be a result of structural or movement imbalances that go beyond a simple slip and fall. Pain itself can have multiple causes; there are different "types" of pain. As such, patients often need a diverse approach and my goal is to help guide this process.
