Aspire is an integrated practice, providing nutrition and mental health counseling, that has created a culture supportive of intuitive eating, using therapeutic interventions and mindfulness practices to enhance the nourishment of individuals. We are a team of social workers, registered dietitians and mental health counselors who are passionate about preventing and treating mental illness and improving overall community health. People easily understand the connection between nutritional deficiencies and physical illness, however few people understand the connection between nutrition, depression and mental illness.

I love helping individuals of all ages to heal relationships with food, eating, and body image. I have experience providing nutrition counseling for different levels of eating disorders and disordered eating, Medical Nutrition Therapy for disease states, as well as general nutrition education from an evidence-based approach. I have a passion for busting nutrition myths and educating about what we can add rather than subtract from our diet.

Welcome! I have a lifelong passion for health. I was raised using natural therapies for common illnesses and saw the power of integrative cancer treatment during my aunt’s ovarian cancer journey. I also used natural solutions for my own hormonal imbalances, fatigue, and digestive issues during my young adult life. As a naturopathic doctor, I treat the whole person with individualized comprehensive naturopathic care focused on both underlying causes and end results. I provide care for natural cancer support, hormonal, digestive, heart health, metabolic, autoimmune, and skin disorders.

Gina Gilchrist is a Registered Dietitian with 24 years of experience in varied settings, including outpatient nutrition counseling, nutrition health coaching/private practice, research, and corporate health. Gina’s passion is counseling pediatric and adolescent patients and their families, however, she also enjoys and has experience working with adults and seniors. She loves to wear many hats and utilizes her creativity in the field as she has presented on various nutrition topics for colleagues, communities, and corporations. She enjoys writing and upheld a nutrition column in Silent Sports Magazine while residing in Chicago.

I offer a weight neutral, client-centered, non-judgmental, trauma informed and somatically oriented approach to nutrition counseling where we work together to explore and heal your relationship with food and body image. I specialize in working with folks who have eating disorders, disordered eating, diabetes, PCOS and athletes. These experiences help inform my nutrition practice and I’m excited to continue to learn from the clients I have the privilege of working with now.

Taking a holistic (whole-person/whole-picture) approach is crucial for meeting health & wellness goals. Hello there! I’m a fiercely anti-diet Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) specializing in eating disorders. My journey as a dietitian began at the intersection of nutrition and psychology. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition Science and a Bachelor of Art in Psychology degrees from North Carolina State University and a Master of Science in Nutrition and Dietetic Practice from Thomas Jefferson University. My commitment to ongoing education and practicing with humility ensures that I provide evidence-based, personalized care to each of my clients. I have eating disorder experience at multiple levels of care.

Hope Peek is a cofounder and the Director of Integrative Women's Health services at Charlotte Acupuncture and Wellness Center. She is one of the first acupuncturists in the nation to achieve fellow status with the American Board of Oriental Reproductive Medicine (ABORM). She is also a charter member of the Clinical Excellence in Fertility Program and is nationally board certified in acupuncture and herbal medicine. Hope graduated from Southwest Acupuncture College in Santa Fe, NM in 2005 with a masters degree in Oriental medicine (MSOM) and completed an additional internship in Beijing, China.
