Food should NOT be complicated! Finding a balance with food and developing a healthy lifestyle does not have to mean dieting or feeling chronic food guilt. It's hard to know what to believe about food and fitness in our diet driven world. Specializing in helping my clients achieve their health and wellness goals, I approach nutrition with a diet free philosophy where all foods can be enjoyed as part of a healthy life. Using scientifically proven nutrition principles, education, and a therapeutic approach, I will work with you to help you find peace with food and your body.
As a certified eating disorder registered dietitian (CEDRD), I specialize in treating anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, and emotional eating related behaviors. Given the high failure rate of sustained weight loss from dieting, I believe that an intuitive eating approach is also an ideal treatment modality for anyone pursuing weight, health, and fitness goals.
My treatment approach with each client is individualized to their personal needs and goals. I offer personal nutrition counseling with customized nutritional meal plans, family nutrition therapy, or group and corporate nutrition and wellness education. My philosophy is that "you can have your cake, and eat it too!"
