Managing diabetes is a full time job, but what if there was a way to simplify it? Having type 1 diabetes myself, I aim to help you reduce the burden of living with diabetes through education and technology. I provide holistic care to help you balance all areas of health, and collaborate with you and your healthcare team to create a personalized management plan.

I have a clinical focus in women's health, environmental health, sports medicine, and mental health. I see patients for hormone management, chronic infection management, general medicine, chronic illness and autoimmune disease management, regenerative medicine, weight management programs, corrective exercise programs, therapeutic injection therapies, and craniosacral therapy. I also have a special interest in patients with chronic fatigue and fibromyalgia. I have a passion for providing accessible medical care for under-served populations and teaching foundational lifestyle practices that promote patient empowerment.

I practice an intuitive art form rooted in scientific knowledge. Traditional medicine does not specialize in treating the myofascial restrictions that may be involved in chronic pain conditions or structural dysfunction. The tried and true techniques of deep tissue massage and myofascial release aim to restore the normal functioning of fascia by breaking up the glue that binds these adhesions. I do this by applying slow, sustained pressure, gradually working up to the threshold of what you can tolerate.

I practiced in Los Angeles, Santa Monica & Beverly Hills for 15 yrs before moving to Portland in 2016. Over 23 yrs of practice has taught me how to treat many different, complex health issues and stress & pain management. I specialized in Infertility and Women's Health for many years & still provide on-site acupuncture for IVF patients the day of their embryo transfer. I have been a practicing physician for 20 years. As a Naturopathic Doctor I specialize in musculoskeletal rehabilitation (acute and chronic joint and muscle pain), and women’s health (PMS, menopause, fatigue, insomnia, thyroid, hormones). In evaluation I use a variety of assessment tools including functional exams, labs, and imaging. I have a unique functional approach when addressing musculoskeletal pain that comes from years of training in human movement.

At East West College in Portland, Oregon; I completed the 801 hour program specializing in Myofascial Realignment while including modalities in Trigger Point, Postural Assessments, PNF, Deep Tissue, Neuromuscular Therapy, and Structural Integration. I was on the path towards nursing working in the Trauma Unit. There, I realized that my true healing potential to assist others along their unique journey towards ultimate well being, and my healing intentions was best expressed through the power of touch. I now focus my practice mostly for those experiencing chronic pain, motor vehicle accidents, and post surgery as well as those in sports training.

Everyone can achieve a greater degree of health, be it physical, mental, emotional, or spiritual, and being a licensed Naturopath AND acupuncturist, I can provide many treatment options. Hello! I’m Dr. Emma Kingsberg. I’m a licensed naturopathic doctor (ND) with a master’s of science in nutrition (MSN) and a certification in pelvic floor therapy. I specialize in women’s health with an emphasis on sexual reproductive medicine, fertility and preconception care. I'm passionate about autonomy and love helping women with natural birth control methods such as fertility awareness. I use the menstrual cycle as a diagnostic tool to learn more about the body and ways to optimize it so you can feel your best. I frequently treat women with PCOS, PMS, endometriosis, hypothalamic amenorrhea, hypothyroid, and sub-fertility.

I primarily treat chronic pain and musculoskeletal injuries. My belief is that these are often multi-faceted. Injuries can ultimately be a result of structural or movement imbalances that go beyond a simple slip and fall. Pain itself can have multiple causes; there are different "types" of pain. I develop intensive and comprehensive treatment programs for individuals diagnosed with all types and stages of cancer. I utilize IV therapies such as dichloroacetate (DCA), vitamin C, lipoic acid, DMSO and other nutrients, in addition to ultraviolet blood irradiation (UVBI). I am also trained in the Kelley Enzyme Protocol, which utilizes very high dose pancreatic enzymes.
