Dr. Michael C. McClung

“I began my professional career as an architect but after developing back problems and being helped by a chiropractor, I become one myself. I have practiced in northwest Austin since 1983 and have successfully treated over 10,000 patients. After being injured in an auto accident, I decided to specialize in the treatment of these kinds of injuries. I understand the pain of injury and have gone on to recieve Board Certification in Pain Management. My ideal patient is someone who not only wants to get out of pain but wants to achieve functional stabilization and optimal wellness.

After conducting extensive crash testing research with state of the art dummies and human volunteers at The Spine Research Institute of San Diego, I recieved Advanced Certification in Whiplash and Brain Injury Traumatology. I have testified in court numerous times as an expert witness.

My other special interest are non-surgical decompression and wellness care. I am a nationally certified "Creating Wellness Center". I have had outstanding results using "cold laser technology" and was personally trained by Lance Armstrong's chiropractor. I was the first "Official Team Chiropractor" to the Austin Ice Bats.”
