“I have worked in the healing arts for 40 years now. My experience as an RN at The Johns Hopkins Hospital honed my knowledge and skills in Western Medicine. As an Acupuncturist I can incorporate my knowledge of nursing into the practice of Eastern Medicine. Chinese Medicine has allowed my love of Holistic medicine to blossom. I find that the Body/Mind/Spirit connection allows the acupuncture experience to amaze both me and my patients. Patients walk into my treatment room with complaints ranging from A to Z. As the treatment unfolds, the body/mind/spirit impact is powerful.
Acupuncture can treat a multitude of disorders/imbalances. A few of them are: Asthma/anxiety/insomnia/stress/gastrointestinal disorders/depression/skin disorders/fibromyalgia/sinus issues/TMJ/tendonitis/infertility/menstral disorders/menapausal disorders/sleep disorders/back,neck,shoulder pain and much more. Graduate degrees in nursing and acupuncture have prepared me well.
My work as an RN gives me rich experience in both the medical/surgical field as well as psychiatry. Motherhood has helped me to develop healing skills as well. Healing is about finding balance and strength so that we can live to our fullest potential!”
