“I found the most successful outcomes occur when working with other health care practitioners. I specialize in the treatment of menopausal symptoms, perimenopause, hormonal imbalance, fatigue, breast cancer prevention, gastrointestinal disorders, stress, depression, anxiety, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, heavy metal toxicity, and weight management. I also enjoy working to prevent these conditions. After achieving better health using the appropriate therapies, the naturopath"s goal is for the individual to maintain their health with minimal intervention through education, diet and lifestyle improvements that best suit the individual.
A naturopathic physician looks at environmental, nutritional, and lifestyle deterrents to health and then may use natural therapies to help alleviate the stressors that are preventing the body from functioning normally. I believe in the individual"s innate capacity to heal. I use dietary change, nutritional supplementation, and botanical remedies.
I received my Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine degree from the National College of Naturopathic Medicine, an accredited college in Portland, OR in 2000. I have since worked in two integrative medical centers in Maryland and Washington DC along side medical doctors and other health practitioners”
